TAMALES AHOGADOS

Prepare this recipe following 5 simple steps:

  1. Prepare the Sauce: Boil 2 Roma tomatoes, 1/2 a jalapeño, and 1/8 onion. Blend until smooth.
  2. Sauté Veggies: Chop the remaining 1/2 jalapeño and 1/8 onion. Sauté in 2 tablespoons of oil until the onion is translucent.
  3. Combine Sauce: Add the blended sauce to the pan and bring to a boil. Season with salt.
  4. Cook Eggs: Crack eggs into the boiling sauce. Cook for 4-6 minutes.
  5. Serve: Heat Naked Tamales. Top with eggs, sauce, and a dollop of sour cream (optional).
